This is a Tamdhu single malt aged 34 years, from 1988, matured in a hogshead and bottled at 52.5%. It is Statement No 55 from Blackadder, a family-run independent bottler.
Blackadder has been championing cask-strength single malts since 1995, and this mature release is presented as the best of what Tamdhu can offer. The notes describe marasca cherry, orange zest, a honey-nut bar and baking spices.
