Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 007 is the seventh release in the distillery's Batch Strength series, bottled at 57.5% ABV. It is matured exclusively in seasoned Oloroso sherry casks from the bodegas of Jerez, Spain, which give it a deep, natural copper colour.
The nose is vanilla sponge, spicy cinnamon and roasted praline. On the palate there are raspberries, caramelised apricots, oak spice and a sharp lemon note. The finish brings warm oak spices, baked figs, clear sherry character and fresh clementine.
