Tamdhu 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, matured entirely in sherry oak casks.
The nose is rich, with iced cinnamon rolls, orange boiled sweets, fresh sweet oak and raisins, plus a faint hint of mint. On the palate the texture is silky, with banana, berry jam and malt biscuit alongside the depth of sherry oak.
The finish is long and balanced, with ground spice, dried fruit and soft Scottish tablet, and a faint wisp of peat smoke right at the end.
