Bladnoch 13 Years is a Lowland single malt from the Heritage Collection of the Bladnoch distillery, bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle.
It matured fully in ex-bourbon casks, each one selected by hand by Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage.
The nose is a floral bouquet of violet and lavender with honey, apple, fresh-cut grass and citrus. On the palate violet and apple return alongside malt, grapefruit, ginger, nutmeg and wood. The finish is medium in length, with notes of mead, pepper and ginger.
