Bladnoch 14 Year Old is a Lowland single malt, and this bottling was released in 2022. It is the third annual release under David Prior, the Australian businessman who bought the distillery from the Armstrong brothers in 2015.
The whisky is assembled from Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks chosen by Master Distiller Nick Savage, who joined from Macallan in 2019. It is bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
It is described as a sherried Lowlander, elegant but with punchy flavours.
