Bladnoch – 16 Years Old

Bladnoch 16 Years Old is a Lowland single malt from Bladnoch, the most southerly distillery in Scotland. The distillery dates back to 1817, when the brothers John and Thomas McClelland were first licensed to distil at their Bladnoch farm. This sixteen-year-old is a more recent expression from the distillery. Production stopped between 1993 and 2000, before the new owners arrived and put the site in order, and that gap in stocks has pushed the official ages upwards. Bladnoch is loved by many enthusiasts for a fruity, floral style.
