This Bladnoch is a 1991 vintage from the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice range, bottled in 2007. It was matured in ex-bourbon refill casks.
The nose is aromatic and herbaceous, with malty barley, hay, spice and dry wood. The palate is sweet and medium in body, with spice, a floral edge and soft oak. The finish is soft and smooth, with oak and gentle apple blossom coming and going.
