Bladnoch – Samsara

Bladnoch Samsara is a single malt from Bladnoch Distillery, a group of dark stone buildings on the River Bladnoch in Galloway, in south west Scotland. The distillery dates back to 1817 and is one of six remaining Lowland distilleries. The whisky is a copper gold colour and is described as full bodied and fragrant, with a rich, lingering core. The nose is concentrated, with fruit compote, plums, vanilla and orange blossom. The palate opens sweet and winey, then dries slightly into more plum and vanilla, some citrus and a malty core. The finish is mellow and winey, with a spicy, lingering tail.
