This is a 1993 single malt from Bladnoch, bottled in 2016 by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was matured in refill sherry hogsheads and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has tropical fruits, barley sugars and heather honey, with a touch of sweet hay. Walnut comes first on the palate, then the fruit returns.
The finish is spicy, with stem ginger and lingering pepper.
