This is a 30 year old single malt from Bladnoch, the oldest whisky the distillery has released. It was matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and Moscatel casks and bottled at 45.5% abv in a 70cl bottle.
The 2022 release is limited to 950 bottles worldwide.
The nose is floral, with dried apricot and nutmeg. On the palate there is rich almond and marzipan alongside Seville orange. The finish is light and fruity, with a hint of cracked black pepper.
