Bladnoch 30 Year Old Rare Release is a Lowland single malt matured for three decades in Oloroso and Moscatel sherry casks. It is bottled at 45.5% in a 70cl bottle and was produced in limited quantity.
The nose is delicate and floral, with dried apricots, nutmeg and bright citrus. On the palate, almonds and marzipan develop alongside Seville orange, dried fruit and mature oak. The finish is long, with lingering fruit, gentle nuttiness and a touch of cracked black pepper.
