This is Bladnoch's 8 Year Old Lowland single malt, bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle and not chill-filtered.
It is matured in American oak red-wine casks, each hand-picked under Dr Nick Savage, which bring strawberry fruit and spice to the spirit.
The nose has strawberries and herbal pine cones. The palate brings strawberry jam, polished oak and nutmeg, and the finish is very long, sugary and warmly spiced.
