Bladnoch – Alinta (70cl, 47%)

Bladnoch Alinta is a single malt Scotch bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. Its name is an indigenous Australian word meaning fire and flames, chosen to suggest the campfire ember notes in the glass. It combines PX sherry and ex-bourbon casks with a sweet, smoky, peated spirit, which sets it apart from earlier Bladnoch releases. The nose has smoky ice cream, delicate florals and sweet oak. The palate shows campfire smoke, almonds and raisins on a white chocolate body, and the finish is long with sweet smoke.
