Bladnoch Alinta is a peated Lowland single malt from Scotland, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its name comes from a south-east Australian word for fire or flames. It was matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks.
The nose offers smoky ice cream with soft floral notes and sweet oak. On the palate, campfire smoke wraps around roasted almonds, raisins and a white chocolate richness. The finish is lasting, filled with sweet smoke. It can be taken neat or with a few drops of water.
