Bladnoch – Alinta (70cl, 46%)

Bladnoch Alinta is a Lowland single malt matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks. Alinta is a word from several Aboriginal languages of south-eastern Australia meaning fire or flame, a nod to the campfire embers that run through the dram. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and at natural colour. The sweetness of the sherry casks meets a smoky spirit. The aroma is described as campfire smoke together with a floral sweetness.
