Bladnoch – Samsara (70cl)

Bladnoch Samsara is a single malt from the Lowland distillery, the first of three releases in early 2017 marking its reopening. The name means rebirth. It carries no age statement, but it is said to combine whiskies of at least 8 years old with older ones. Maturation took place in first-fill Californian red wine casks and first-fill bourbon casks. Samsara has won a gold medal at both the Scotch Whisky Masters and the San Francisco Spirits Competition.
