Bladnoch – Samsara (70cl, 46.7%)

Bladnoch Samsara is a Lowland single malt from the Classic Collection of the Bladnoch distillery, which gives its founding year as 1817. It is bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered. It combines malts matured in ex-bourbon casks with malts from Californian red wine casks. The nose mixes fresh and sweet notes of citrus, apple, mint, peach and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with orange marmalade, flowers, cherry, redcurrant and sweet apple. The finish is medium in length, with black tea, dark chocolate and a touch of pepper.
