Samsara is a Lowland single malt from Bladnoch, bottled at 46.7% ABV without an age statement.
It was released for the 200th anniversary of the distillery, which was founded in 1817. The name means rebirth and points to the distillery's renewed chapter. The whisky was matured in a combination of Californian red wine casks and ex-bourbon casks.
The profile runs from red fruit, malt and vanilla to oak spice, wine notes, honey and cereal, in a soft Lowland style.
