Bladnoch – Vinaya (70cl, 46.7%)

A Lowland single malt from Bladnoch, bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration or added colouring. It marries whisky from two eras at the distillery: stock distilled in the original still, which was used until 2009, and spirit from the new still, in use since 2017. The nose is fresh grass, floral notes and a light herbal sweetness. On the palate come crisp green apple, pepper, chocolate and creamy toffee. The finish is soft and sweet, fruity and fresh.
