This is a 10 year old single cask Blair Athol from Pitlochry, distilled on 6 August 2015 and matured in a first fill Ruby Port barrique. Best Dram bottled it on 4 November 2025 at a cask strength of 54.6% ABV, giving 253 bottles from cask 302202.
The amber colour comes from the wood alone, as no colouring was added.
The nose is warm malt and fine vanilla with dark berries and a hint of nuts. On the palate, juicy berries and dark fruit meet malt sweetness and nutty notes, with fine tannins and a creamy texture.
