Blair Athol 12 Year Old 2008 Bordeaux Edition is a Highland single malt bottled independently by DS Tayman. It was distilled in 2008 and matured for 12 years.
The whisky spent its first years in oak hogsheads before a finishing period in Bordeaux wine barriques. It is Kosher certified.
The tasting notes describe creamy toffee, cinnamon, white chocolate and gentle oak, with hints of red wine, fresh mint and delicate aniseed, leading to a long, gently spiced finish.
