This is a 12 year old Blair Athol single malt from the Highlands, bottled by Thompson Bros in September 2023.
It is a vatting of two casks, one filled in 2006 and one in 2011: a refill hogshead and a refill barrel. The bottling runs to 547 bottles, and the label is made from artwork by KMG YEAH.
The nose combines fresh brie, rose, lime cordial, lemongrass, parsley, charcoal, mint, clove and a touch of brine. The palate is lime juice, zest and syrup, marshmallow bear sweets, spearmint, orange blossom and a hint of lavender. The finish brings soft spice, charcoal, brine, lime zest and clove.
