Blair Athol – 13 Year Old 2011-2024 Douglas Laing Old Particular Single Cask Sangiovese Red Wine Cask (70cl, 48.4%)

This is a 13 year old Blair Athol single malt from the Highlands, bottled by Douglas Laing in a 70cl bottle as part of their Old Particular Red Wine Cask Collection. It was distilled in June 2011 and bottled in August 2024 at 48.4%, without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky was finished in a Sangiovese red wine cask, and 329 bottles came from that single cask. The label notes mention dark cherries, dried fruits, spiced oak, red berries, sweet vanilla and rich malt.
