Blair Athol 14 Years is a Highland single malt and the first bottling under the Whisky Grail name, called The First Crusade. It was distilled in November 2011 and bottled in February 2026 by Brave New Spirits in Glasgow.
The whisky matured entirely in a single first fill bourbon barrel. It is bottled at cask strength, 56.1% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without colouring.
The nose is creamy toffee, runny honey and vanilla, with ripe apricot, yellow apple and spring flowers. The palate is oily, with butterscotch, apricot, mango, citrus zest and roasted almonds. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla and apricot.
