This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Blair Athol, bottled in November 2023 by the independent bottler The Single Cask.
The whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured in a single refill sherry octave. This small cask format is said to intensify the contact with the wood, and it yielded just 56 individually numbered bottles.
The character is described as robust and malty, with natural depth and a sherry-led richness.
