This is a Blair Athol 15 Year Old from The Cooper's Choice, part of its Golden Cut Collection. The whisky was distilled in 2011, bottled in 2026 and finished in Madeira casks.
The nose combines sweet toffee with Madeira and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied with a pleasant mouthfeel, led by raisins and sultanas, then sweet malt, caramel and Madeira cake with baking spices. The finish is good, carrying caramel, dried fruit and spice.
