This is a 17-year-old Blair Athol from Pitlochry in the Highlands, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2025 by Signatory Vintage at 50% ABV. It forms part of the Exceptional Cask Edition series.
The whisky matured in sherry butts that were first filled with Oloroso. Those casks are described as underlining a full-bodied character that is spicy and nutty, with strong sherry notes.
It is bottled without chill-filtration and in its natural colour.
