Copernicus is a single cask Blair Athol from the Scotch Universe range, distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2018 at 30 years old. It matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask and was bottled at a cask strength of 48.7% ABV, without chill filtration or caramel colouring.
Blair Athol stands in Pitlochry, close to Edradour. The distillery was founded by Robert Robertson in 1778 under the name Aldour, and took the name Blair Athol in 1825.
