Blair Athol 1995 25 Year Old - Old Particular (59.5%)

Blair Athol 25 Year Old is a single malt from the Old Particular range, recognisable by its black label. It was distilled in March 1995 and bottled in March 2020 at 59.5%, with no colouring and no chill-filtration. 282 bottles were produced. The nose opens with sweet hard candy, then toffee, milk chocolate and buttery pastry. On the palate, warming spices give way to charred oak, summer fruit tart and milky coffee. The long finish brings stewed berries, chocolate mousse and dried fruit.
