A single cask Highlands single malt from Blair Athol, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2019 at nine years old. Valinch & Mallet released it as part of their Young Masters Edition at a cask strength of 50.8% ABV.
It matured in a sherry cask, number 19-0901, which gave 638 bottles after the angel's share. Sherry character runs through the notes, alongside malt, berry jam, rye toast, barley sugar, dark chocolate, vanilla, syrup, baking spices, dried fruit and oak.
