This is an 11 year old Blair Athol single malt, distilled in 2011 and released in spring 2023 by Dram Mor Group.
It matured in a refill bourbon hogshead, cask 308610, and 305 bottles were filled.
The nose is very fresh, with an unexpected note of sloes, honey syrup, sweet green grapes and a touch of blue cheese and lilies. The palate is cool and lightly spicy, with a rich mouthfeel that coats the mouth in spiced butter. The finish is soft and clean, with honey, warmth and a gentle bitterness.
