This Blair Athol was distilled in September 2013 and bottled in October 2022 at 9 years old, by Signatory Vintage for The Un-Chillfiltered Collection. It matured in a dechar/rechar hogshead, and 328 bottles of the single cask were released at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose offers citrus, honey and soft grain with a light spiciness. The palate is fresh and balanced, with citrus, honey-sweet malt and a hint of pepper.
The finish is pleasantly spicy and slightly sweet, with citrus, malt and soft spices lingering.
