This Blair Athol was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage for its Monuments of Scotland series. The 10 year old Highland single malt was finished in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, which make it dark, spicy and full-bodied. It is bottled at 50.8% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour, and it is not peaty.
The nose offers ripe fruit, raisins, dark berries and caramel with spicy oak, cocoa and a hint of orange peel. The palate is powerful and pleasantly oily, with dried fruit, nuts, toffee, dark chocolate and warming cask spice.
