A 7 year old Blair Athol single malt from the Claxton's Warehouse No. 8 series. It was distilled on 6 August 2015, matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry octave and bottled in autumn 2023. Only 69 bottles were filled.
The nose has strong toffee notes with raisins soaked in maple syrup and a little icing sugar. The palate starts very dry and oaky, then turns to rich stewed fruit and spice. The finish brings more oak and a toffee aftertaste.
