Blair Athol – 23 Year Old 1993 (Special Release 2017) Cask Strength (70cl)

This is the 2017 Special Release of Blair Athol, a 23 year old single malt Scotch whisky from 1993, bottled at cask strength in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, and the first time the distillery has featured in Diageo's Special Releases. It was aged in ex-sherry European oak casks, giving a rich, full-bodied dram in the distillery's style. Blair Athol was founded in 1798 at the gateway to the Highlands and is known as the signature malt in Bell's blends. Its house style is typically rich, spiced, gingery and nutty.
