Blanton's Original is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is a single barrel bourbon, hand-selected and bottled one barrel at a time, and was the world's first commercially released single barrel bourbon.
It is named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton and matures in new charred American oak barrels. The round bottle carries a horse and jockey stopper.
The bourbon is described as balancing sweetness, spice and oak.
