This is an American single malt from Boulder Spirits, distilled in Colorado at the Vapour Distillery and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit spent three years in freshly charred American oak, then a further nine months in ruby port casks.
The nose offers stewed raisins, grape skins and dried cinnamon, with chocolate-covered Brazil nuts. On the palate come rhubarb crumble, stewed plums, berries and fruitcake spice. The finish pairs drying oak spice with forest fruits and ginger cake.
