Cadenhead's Bowmore 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt, fully matured in bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, in the new Cadenhead's design. It is bottled without chill filtering or added colouring.
Bowmore was established in 1779 by David Simpson and is the oldest running distillery on Islay.
The nose offers mango, kiwi skin, tropical fruit, vanilla pods, candle smoke and marzipan. On the palate come icing sugar, grilled pineapple, flint and oregano. The finish has cinnamon sticks, soft smoke and cassia bark.
