Devil's Casks II is the second release in Bowmore's Devil's Casks series, a 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 56.3% in a 70cl bottle. The first edition appeared in 2013.
This small batch of 6,000 bottles was matured exclusively in first fill sherry casks, which is unusual for Bowmore and gives the whisky a deep ruby colour. The name comes from a local legend in which the devil hid in a cask of Bowmore to escape angry residents and reach the mainland.
