This is Bowmore Tempest Batch No. 3, a 10 year old Islay single malt in a small batch release. It was matured in first-fill American bourbon casks and is bottled at 55.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose pairs Seville orange zest with Islay peat smoke. The palate starts dry, then opens into orange blossom and a tang of Atlantic sea salt, and the finish is lingering, warming peat.
