Bowmore 10 Year Old is the 2026 release of The Devil's Casks, a series that first appeared in three releases between 2013 and 2015 and returns after more than a decade alongside a 22 year old.
The whisky was first matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in first-fill PX casks. It is bottled at cask strength, 56.6% ABV, and pairs rich sherry influence with Bowmore's peat smoke.
The nose offers syrupy dark fruits, leather and ripe apples. The palate is full-bodied, with fruitcake, treacle toffee and dark chocolate, plus hints of liquorice, spice and gentle smoke. The finish is long, with warming spices and a delicate touch of smoke.
