This is an 11 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, distilled on 12 February 2015 and bottled in 2026 by Claxton's for its Warehouse No.1 series. It was finished in European oak, and the cask gave 280 bottles at a cask strength of 54.2%. It is heavily peated and bottled without added colouring or chill-filtration.
The nose combines gentle peat smoke and sea salt with cinnamon and dark chocolate. On the palate it is full and powerful, with smoke, sweet citrus and a pinch of salt, and dry European oak spice. The finish is long and dry, with a touch of sweet dried fruit.
