Bowmore – 12 Year Old 1980s

This is Bowmore 12 Year Old, an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a distillery bottling, most likely from the 1980s. It comes in one of the old dumpy-style bottles used for the distillery's 12 year old. Suntory bought Bowmore in 1989, so this bottle most likely dates from the Morrison years at the distillery. The closure of a bottle this old may have deteriorated, so it should be opened with care.
