This is a Bowmore 12 year old from around the 1980s, in the classic dumpy brown bottle. It is a 75cl bottling, produced by Morrison's Bowmore Distillery Ltd on Islay before the distillery was taken over by Suntory.
Bowmore is Islay's oldest working distillery, established in 1779. It was acquired by Stanley P. Morrison in 1963, and it is one of the few Scottish distilleries still using its own floor maltings.
