This is a 12 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, in a 100cl bottle. It dates from the 1990s, when the distillery's owner changed its name to Morrison Bowmore Distillers and introduced a number of new bottlings, this 12 year old among them.
Bowmore is one of the oldest Scottish distilleries still working. The whisky shows the abundant peat and the coastal climate that the source associates with Islay.
