This is a 12 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, distilled in 1992 and aged in oak. It was bottled by the SMWS at 59.6% ABV from a single cask, in a 50cl bottle.
It belongs to the 26 Malts collection, for which 26 graphic designers were each paired with a writer and asked to design a unique label for a single cask.
The character is described as warming, with orange peel and old oak wood peat, rather than simply smoke or iodine.
