This twelve-year-old Bowmore was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2026 by the independent bottler Meadowside Blending for its The Maltman series. It is bottled at 54.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, and only 279 bottles were filled. The style is oily and maritime, with salted liquorice, seaweed crackers, maple syrup and fine fruit.
The nose is maritime and smoky, with sweet peat smoke, sea spray, wet rocks and fresh orange peel. The palate is oily and coastal, and the finish is warming and soft.
