This is a 12 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in hand selected oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, then finished in an oloroso sherry cask. The colour is deep gold.
On the nose there is vanilla caramel, red berries, marzipan and icing sugar, with hints of dried fruit. The palate brings ripe pears, lemon juice, cinnamon, toasted almonds and peaches in syrup, with smoke building. The finish is long and spicy.
