Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Scotch single malt matured for 12 years in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks.
The maturation is described as gentle, and it gives the whisky a layered but inviting character. Red berries, rich vanilla caramel and peaches run through a seam of subtle sweetness.
