Bowmore 12 Year Old is a single malt from Islay, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made in the island's capital, also called Bowmore, where whisky was first distilled in 1779 and where craftsmen, pure water and smoked peat are still central to the way it is made.
The nose is lifted lemon and honey, bound together with the distinctive Bowmore smokiness. On the palate it is warm, with subtle dark chocolate and peat smoke.
